Employers Start To Consider Affordable Care Act Options

As we have seen, many individuals are relieved to have the election over and are breathing easier knowing they can continue to be covered. But many businesses are still concerned. The Affordable Care Act (“ObamaCare”) requires employers to either play a role in coverage, or pay a penalty of up to $3000 per employee. But the formulas and penalties are quite different for small and larger employers, and understandably many are cautious and will take some effort now to better inform themselves.
