It’s not exactly an immediate opportunity for some in Houston to find new housing, but for many it is there only option. With so many seeking low-income Houstonians needing housing, and with city resources limited, a wait list is always an issue at the Houston Housing Authority. However, in order to first get on that waitlist, one must first be selected. Thus throughout this week many Houstonians will be rushing to register to be part of a process that could still take many years before they find a home.
