With state and national attention being brought to Texas over the traffic stop and arrest of Sandra Bland, Representative Garnet Coleman of Houston is now proposing legislation to end ‘pretext stops’. Legislation that would be part of the proposed Sandra Bland Act. It was the focus of hearings in Austin this Tuesday.
