On Tuesday the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO) ordinance was rejected at the polls, and many point out that the future of the city’s image is now an open question. Particularly after this campaign drew so much national media attention (and derision) in the past few days. Already though we are seeing new discussion of how this issue may returns to city hall and voters in the future.
