Experienced community volunteers, volunteer managers, and cheerleaders for community service from all sectors of society are gathering in Houston this week for Service Unites: the Conference on Volunteering and Service – convened by the Points of Light Foundation. And this being the 25th Anniversary of the foundation, inspired and launched by Houstonian and former President George H.W. Bush, it seems a appropriate location.
