Next week the Points of Light Foundation’s 2015 Conference on Volunteering and Service hits Houston. And just before national nonprofit leaders begin workshops and hear panel discussions on better ways to recruit, motivate and coordinate volunteer service activities, local agencies will be out in force recruiting Houstonians. Volunteer Houston will sponsor their 2nd Annual Volunteer Fair at Sam Houston Park, Sunday, October 18th, from 11am-3pm.
