Government Shutdown Ends & Default Avoided, But Challenges Are Still Ahead All of Us

Congress finally ended its latest game of brinksmanship with the White House on Wednesday night, and federal workers can go back to work. However the very real damage has been done. Human service, health and education programs frozen during the past 16 days, will take some time and additional costs to come back up to speed. And economists say we took over 20 billion dollars out of the economy because of this self-inflicted wound. But more problems lay ahead as new deadlines loom.
