‘Don’t Mess With Texas’ Campaign Gets a Millennial Makeover

English: Do Not Mess with Texas road signJust in time for Earth Day, the 27 years old state beautification campaign Don’t Mess With Texas got a slight revamp this week. Specifically, in order to appeal to millennials, who according to the Texas Department of Transportation, are the most to likely to litter. The campaign seeks to provide some geographic specific humor via trashcan slogans, plus some new advertising. At the unveiling department heads also talked about the need for more funding for improved infrastructure and to cover clean-up expenses that cost state millions and possibly connect to our public safety in a time of drought and wildfire concerns.
