How to Support Families of the Sandy Hook School Shooting in Connecticut

With so much concern, comes so much desire to help. Volunteers on the ground in Connecticut are doing their part already, such as disaster mental health volunteers through the Red Cross and other agencies.

But because their likely needs will be overwhelming for a long time to come, Connecticut officials are asking the public to consider giving via the United Way of Western Connecticut.
