Local Law Enforcement Learns How to Identify Human Trafficking

Houston is one of the nation’s most active hubs of human trafficking, given proximity to the border and the availability of transport routes via land, sea and air. Federal authorities charged with addressing the problem were in town last week to provide more education on the topic to local law enforcement, so that they and the public can better spot possible trafficking operations.
