Stories of students standing up against bullies are not uncommon. But finding out that the student struck back in defense of another child (with special needs), and that his father is now standing outside the school in protest, are quite unusual. Victoria-ISD has put Max Duke into suspension as a result of his outburst, but after three years of trying to get justice against his bully, his father is taking some different steps to register their concern and frustration with the school.
