The national AIDS initiative kicked off this week in Houston, by the NAACP, has a large focus on the Black churches as a location for education and outreach. This connection was also illustrated last night, in part, on the PBS Frontline special “Endgame: AIDS in the Black America.” The full program is available online now for viewing here, but a short preview and discussion were also on the PBSNewsHour with Glenn Ifill (below). With the lead-up next week to the International AIDS Conference coming to Washington next week, it’s a thought provoking program.
