Monday’s shooting near Texas A&M is just the latest episode to grip the nation with questions about rampant gun violence. And while some point to active shooter incidents as an anomaly, some academics, (including one with personal experience with UT’s own famous Tower shooting from the 1960s) believes we need to start looking at this much differently. As if it were a public health issue.
