U.S. News & World Report has released its annual ranking of American hospitals. Houston hospitals did quite well, appearing at the top or near the top of the list for many medical specialties.
This year, six Houston hospitals stood out in the rankings.
• Texas Children’s was ranked the #4 children’s hospital in the country.
• The Menninger Clinic was ranked #5 for psychiatry.
• MD Anderson held on to the #1 one spot for cancer. […]
• Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s, #10 for cardiac care,
• Memorial Hermann’s TIRR, #3 in rehabilitation
• The Houston Methodist Hospital was named the best overall adult hospital in Texas, for its combined score in a number of medical specialties.
