Texas Education Funding Seems Sure to Increase, But Many Experts Say It Won’t Be Enough

State lawmakers in both the State House of Representatives and State Senate have indicated they will apply more money to state education. But many educators and advocates still say more will need to be done. And that is before looming federal cuts, related to sequester hit programs meant for poor and disabled students, impact Texas schools and districts.
