Months ago, Governor Perry announced he had no intention of participating in the Medicaid Expansion called for under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). While the Governor fears encroaching big government, faculty at University of Houston have been crunching stats on Texas uninsured, and the available federal assistance, and say it may be a deal the state (and many sick, low income Texans) cannot live without.
