Extensive analysis of state data by the Houston Chronicle finds and increasing number of families are seeking immunization exemptions. A situation born out of lingering, but unproven, connection between vaccines and autism.
Local public health experts fear the consequences may be an increase in both easily preventable infections, and the reemergence of killers that have long been dormant.
