While the rest of the nation and Texas is still reeling from the latest racially charged incidents in Dallas, Baton Rouge and Minnesota, just miles outside of Houston others are remembering Sandra Bland. The Prarie View A&M grad and Black Lives Matter activist was arrested in a traffic stop in Waller county just a year ago in an incident still mired in controversy. Family, friends, and activists gathered to remember her on Sunday.
