With the Zika virus diagnosed already in several individuals from Houston who had been traveling to Latin America, localĀ health officials, and disease experts at the Baylor College of Medicine’s new National School of Tropical Medicine, are sounding concerns. Could the disease get into our local mosquito population, and spread further to Houstonians who have not been to the previously impacted regions?
