A local area charity has earned itself a dubious distinction. Charity Navigator, a watchdog service for people seeking more information and transparency on charities, has named the Cancer Survivors Fund as one of the worst in the nation. With 90.5% of its budget and proceeds directed to fundraising, and only 7.1% dedicated to services.
