With all legal battles finished, the hard work of merging a failing smaller school district, into the much larger Houston Independent School District gets underway. Although it is the summer, and school is several months away, there is a lot of work that must be done to prepare and rebuild district infrastructure, staffing and rebuild community trust after a long battle.
