Prospects of armed teachers, or more armed guards, in all Texas schools has come up in the Texas Legislature in only its first week. On Friday, Lt Governor David Dewhurst has called for state funding so teachers can get specialized gun training. And local reporters covering the capital on Wednesday caught up with a representative from Forth Worth working on one of the first bills expected to be seen on this issue.
