Not quite 2-weeks ago, Houston saw a workplace shooting of fired security guard shooting his replacement. Then last Friday, a car salesman shot his dealership manager. Overall the US Bureau of Labor Statistics says that 458 such deaths occured in 2011. And a local Houston researcher at the Baylor College of Medicine, psychologist Dr. Asim Shah, says the leading issues fueling the problem are stress and access to handguns.
