Much media attention this season has been drawn to how local law enforcement’s role in keeping Halloween safe by following-up with registered sex offenders in our area. In anticipation of the holiday, officers are doing due diligence in following up on registered offenders on probation. Making make sure they are located where they have reported and that they are not doing anything to attract children on the holiday.
