Houston Housing Authority has reopened its Section 8 Housing voucher wait list this week, with a lottery system to be employed in select among those who qualify. The applications were just opened-up online this Monday, but reports say already 45,000 have applied for only 1700 available vouchers that offer rental assistance throughout the city.
