For some in the Houston area, recent rains bring on plague type comparisons – from snakes to alligators and homeless pets. But all of us need to be on the lookout for the tiny winged pests that will be out in force soon enough. The have already been found in the region, leaving some locals infected with West Nile virus. And they may infect more if not addressed with an eye towards control and prevention.
