Jobs council urges clean energy financing, power grid improvements
President Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness Tuesday recommended a host of ways to revive the U.S. economy, including lowering regulatory hurdles and upgrading the nation’s aging electric grid.
In its 52-page report, the jobs council also urged a government financing program to spur private investment in clean energy technologies. “Without bold action, the U.S. risks falling behind its international competitors in the clean energy industry,” the council concluded. Full story at Fuel Fix
