UN announces World Humanitarian Citizen Ambassador video contest.

How to enter before Sept 8th:

  1. Watch the Call-for-Entry video (above) or on the UN Channel on YouTube
  2. Make a short video response – up to 30 seconds in length
  3. Begin your video with the phrase “Excuse me, Mr. Secretary-General…”
  4. Upload your video to YouTube
  5. Fill out the entry form on this site
  6. (Optional): post your video as a response to the call-for-entry

Winners entries receive:

  • Customized HD Mino Flip Cam courtesy of UN Foundation
  • Honorary title of “Citizen Ambassador to the UN” for two years
  • Complimentary flight + 2 night stay in New York City (date to-be-announced)
  • Pitch your idea in person to the SG! Personal meeting and photo op with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
  • The winning videos will be screened at the UN by end of year 2011!
