Based on the ground-breaking book by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke, “Blue Gold: World Water Wars,” it sheds light on the world’s rapidly approaching water crisis and suggests that wars of the future will be fought over water as the source of all life enters the global marketplace and political arena.
Following the movie, there will be a highlight on local non-profit, Living Water International, that currently works on solving the world-wide water issue. A $5 donation is suggested and greatly appreciated. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Living Water International to contribute to their mission of bringing water to those in need.
