Giving Tuesday: Social Media Campaign To Refocus Holiday Attention on Charity Enters Second Year

Over the next few days many thoughts will turn to sales and promotions for the holiday season – from Black Friday to Cyber-Monday. But some in the charity community hope you will extend your thinking to go beyond gift buying and will consider giving of yourself next Tuesday, December 3rd. Last year the #GivingTuesday campaign was launched to tremendous success, primarily as a way to refocus people’s attention on the real meaning of the holiday and to take care of causes and concerns they care about.
