Late last week Christi Myers provided an update on Baby Audrina, the child whose story made headlines back in January after doctors at Texas Children’s Hospital went to extensive efforts to treat a birth defect that left a third of her heart outside of her small body. The update also connected well with the station’s efforts to help the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center collect new donations.
