Refugee Athlete Represents USA & Hopes to Inspire Others

Today’s Olympic competition features a special story. Lopez Lomong ran to flee for his life in as a child in Sudan, becoming one of the thousands of famous Lost Boys of that nation. After years living in a refugee camp in Kenya though he saw the Olympics on TV, and it inspired him. Now a US citizen he runs for his adopted homeland and for kids anywhere who need to have a dream. And along the way he helps raise awareness and funds for World Vision to benefit kids in Sudan and elsewhere.
