Donor Beware: Supposed Veterans Charity Comes Under Harsh Media Spotlight to Explain It’s Spending

While the story in today’s news links about bureaucracy of the Veteran’s Administration is lamentable, blatant charitable scams are more problematic. Particularly when they use veterans, or other worth groups, as their “poster-child.”  Such is the charge currently about one nonprofit based out of Washington with a name similar to a more established and respected charity. However, a close examination of their records, and interviews with their beneficiaries, shows that they do not seem to be very charitable with the millions they raise in the name of vets.
